I gave this book five glorious stars. It is wonderful to know that others feel as I do. I have respect for others that want their Pride and Prejudice clean but am relieved to know that like me there are some of us out there that like our Darcy dirty. This is more than just smut, however,and the author shows a gentler Fitzwillaim. His passion is unleashed but he still tries to be the gentleman Austen created but a man in love will not always keep himself in check and I am glad I got to witness that. I am not oblivious to some realistic observations however mentioned below.*******************************SPOILER*************************************
Lizzy leaves a slumbering Darcy after a night of passion and the unthinkable happens. Darcy is found the morning after and you need to remember it was Lizzy's first time. There is no mention of evidence of their activity. I felt at least his valet who attended him and bathed him would make mention but there was no mention of blood. The other weird thing was that none of the Bennets attended their wedding. Lizzy seems to have just forgot about her familky once she was with Darcy except for the Lydia incident.

I still did not take away stars because I liked that the author created a good story between the two reguardless of my above mentioned issues. ENJOY!

That being said, I loved it!! I am not a prude and can enjoy the many intrigued that are to be had. Yes I love my canon-esque P&P stories, but even I need a break to relieve the tension!!
This story starts out with Elizabeth and the Gardiners touring Pemberley, with Elizabeth and Mr Darcy meeting in the gardens. It goes on to showing what would happen if Mr Darcy and Elizabeth allowed passion to slightly rule themselves when then bump into each other at a river on Darcy's land.
I would recommend this story to mature JAFFers only!!!!
I enjoyed every sensual minute of the book. ODC were hot for each other without the usual recriminations. I did wonder if the Bingley's were there. I did enjoy Elizabeth's and Darcy's hear. Do not look for a lesson enjoy the passion
I am Dale his wife. I love Darcy and Elizabeth love stories, the sexier the better. For two people to share love for each other for over 200 years, and to share that love with the world ... There is hope for us all. Over 400 D&E books later I am still in love please keep it coming.
And the story just makes the sex better. Memorable and sweet (again, who knew?!). I actually don't give out a whole bunch of fives but I really enjoyed this.
Reads like one of my gramma's better romance novels. My kindle copy is highlighted all over this one for great lines. Pink for romance, orange for the hilarious, yellow for the informative and blue for the generally engaging. Thanks bunches for the read!
I read all sorts of p&p variations chaste and risqué and this is definitely in the risqué category. If you enjoy these types of variations then this is well written and enjoyable, with Darcy at his dominant virile best!!!
If you buy this story, you know what you're getting. If not, I'd suggest reading the other reviews and description. It fairly warns you to expect lots of explicit scenes. That being said, I felt like reading something sexy for Lizzy and Darcy and this very short story didn't disappoint.
Again, this goes completely against canon, not just from the explicit scenes. Also, the way the Gardiners and even the Bennets seem to accept Lizzy and Darcy's engagement so nonchalanatly is pretty against the grain.
But the story is sexy. Lots of foreplay before actually consummating their relationship and even something they did I never imagined but interesting nonetheless. And in the middle of all the cheeky banter, you know this couple is deeply in love. Rushing to read her follow up now. Great read!
P.S. I am pretty open to these variations, and have the sweetest and the smuttiest in my collection. It's nice to change things up once in a while )
This is adult fiction. Prudes beware. However it is surprisingly well-written and the dialogue most entertaining. It's worth the price and the fun of reading. It was refreshing to find bits of irony in this novel and a plot with originality and imagination.
